QEC — Quick Exposure Check
Quick Exposure Check
Overview
The Quick Exposure Check is a practitioner -friendly ergonomic assessment tool — designed to assess the level of exposure to work -related musculoskeletal disorder risk factors in a rapid, systematic, and reprod ucible manner. QEC is distinctive in that it combines observer assessment with worker self-report — the assessor evaluates back, shoulder and arm, wrist and hand, and neck postures and movements, while the worker provides information about perceived exerti on, vibration exposure, work pace, and stress level. These two perspectives are combined to produce exposure scores for each body region, which are compared against action levels to guide intervention priorities.
