Safety culture isn’t built in compliance documents. It’s built in how people show up every day.
Respecting Nature & LifeEHS Guru works with organisations across sectors to make EHS and sustainability part of daily operations — not just quarterly reporting. Four practice areas, one measure: is it actually working?

EHS Guru started with a straightforward observation: organisations across India — many of them without dedicated EHS teams — needed access to expertise that changed how their workplaces ran. Not paperwork that got filed and forgotten. Work that moved.
A core consulting practice grew into four: EHS consulting, technology tools, ergonomics and wellness, and professional knowledge programmes. Each one came out of a gap we kept running into with clients. None of them were part of the original plan.
Today the client list runs from enterprises and hospitals to development finance institutions and small manufacturers. The practice has grown more complex. The reason we started it hasn’t.
Where the work happens.
A working world where protecting people and protecting the environment are treated as the same job — and where doing it properly is simply how a serious organisation runs.
The work is varied — audits, training, tools, certifications, ergonomics programmes. What connects all of it is the intent: leave a workplace safer than we found it, and leave the environment around it in better shape than we found that too.
Our Values
Respect
For the people in the workplaces we audit, and the ecosystems that the industries we advise operate within. This isn't a framed statement on a wall. It's the reason the work exists.
Ownership
When we take on an engagement, we care about whether it actually worked — not just whether it was delivered. If something isn't landing, we'd rather say so than hand it off and move on.
Passion
Most of us came to EHS and sustainability because we genuinely cared about it. That still shows in how we work. It's not a service we provide — it's something we believe in.
Empathy
We know what it takes to run an operation — the budget constraints, the regulatory timelines, the teams already stretched thin. Our recommendations have to work in that world, not just on a slide deck.
Our Team
Engineers, ecologists, auditors, social scientists. Most came to this field sideways, from something else.

Respecting Nature & Life
Nature
The river downstream of a plant has no compliance department. Neither does the air above it or the habitat beside it. Someone in the room has to speak for them, and we took that as part of the job rather than a separate service.
Life
Every audit we sign ends with the same test: does the person on that shop floor go home in the condition they arrived in? Everything else — the frameworks, the reports, the certifications — is method. That is the outcome.
Four words under a logo. We’d rather they read as a commitment than a decoration.
