An Ergonomics Champion and T rain-the-Trainer Programme develops internal ergonomics capability within an organisation — identifying and training a network of employees who become the organisation's own ergonomics advocates, assessors, and trainers. Ergonomics Champions are employees — typically selected from supervisory, safety, or HR roles — who receive specialist ergonomics training and take on responsibility for promoting ergonomics awareness, conducting basic workstation assessments, supporting colleagues with ergonomic concerns, and sustaining the organisation's ergonomics programme between formal external reviews.
The programme is delivered in two complementary tracks — the Champion track equips selected employees with the knowledge and practical skills to identify ergonomic risk , conduct basic assessments using simplified validated tools, and deliver ergonomics awareness sessions to their peers. The Train -the-Trainer track provides a deeper level of ergonomics training methodology — equipping designated internal trainers to desig n and deliver formal ergonomics training programmes that meet organisational standards.
An organisation with a functioning network of Ergonomics Champions does not depend on external ergonomists for every assessment and every awareness session — it has emb edded ergonomics capability that operates continuously, reaches every part of the organisation, and sustains improvement over the long term. This is the most cost -effective model for large or multi -site organisations — and it is the approach that makes erg onomics a genuine part of organisational culture rather than a periodic external intervention.
Our certified ergonomists are available across India. From workplace assessments to complete ergonomic redesigns, a conversation is all it takes to improve employee health and productivity.
