What is a Environmental Impact Assessment & Clearance Support — MoEFCC, SEIAA?

Environmental Clearance is a mandatory statutory approval required for a wide range of projects in India — from industrial facilities and infrastructure projects to real estate developments and mining operations — under the Environmental Impact Assessment Notification. It is issued by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change at the central level or by State Environmental Impact Assessment Authorities at the state level, depending on the project category.

Obtaining Environmental Clearance requires the preparation of a comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessment report, public consultation proceedings, presentation before the Expert Appraisal Committee, and compliance with the EC conditions imposed as part of the clearance. The process is complex, time-consuming, and requires specialist expertise in both the technical and regulatory dimensions of environmental assessment.

EGSS provides end-to-end Environmental Clearance support — from project screening and scoping through EIA preparation, public consultation management, EAC presentation, and EC condition compliance — ensuring that projects obtain their clearances efficiently and that EC conditions are understood and managed from the outset.
