Fire System Installation & Testing

What is a Fire System Installation & Testing?
Fire system installation involves the physical deployment of fire protection systems — hydrants, sprinklers, detection and alarm systems, suppression systems, and emergency lighting — in accordance with approved engineering drawings, specifications, and applicable Indian Standards and NBC requirements. Testing and commissioning is the critical phase that follows installation — verifying that each system component functions as designed, that system performance meets the specified hydraulic and electrical parameters, and that the integrated system operates correctly under simulated emergency conditions.
This includes hydrostatic testing of pipework, flow and pressure testing of pumps and hydrants, functional testing of detection and alarm devices, and integrated system testing of suppression triggers and alarm sequences. EGSS provides installation supervision and independent testing and commissioning services — ensuring that fire systems are installed and commissioned to the required standard before handover, occupancy, and statutory inspection.
