Fire & Life Safety Design & Engineering Header

What is a Fire System Design — Hydrants, Sprinklers, Pump Room, Detection, Transformer Yard?

Fire System Design is the engineering process of designing the fire protection systems required for a building or facility — covering internal and external hydrant systems, automatic sprinkler systems, pump room design, fire detection and alarm systems, and specialist suppression systems for transformer yards and other high-risk areas. Each system is designed in accordance with the National Building Code of India, applicable Indian Standards, and international codes such as NFPA where specified — taking into account the occupancy, risk profile, water supply availability, and operational requirements of the facility.

The design process produces detailed engineering drawings, hydraulic calculations, equipment specifications, and bill of quantities — providing the basis for procurement, installation, and statutory approvals. EGSS delivers fire system design across all occupancy types — from commercial and industrial facilities to healthcare campuses, data centres, and infrastructure projects — combining engineering rigour with a thorough understanding of the Indian regulatory and approval environment.
