Sustainability Reporting & Disclosure — GRI, TCFD, SDGs, BRSR

What is a Sustainability Reporting & Disclosure — GRI, TCFD, SDGs, BRSR?
Sustainability Reporting is the process of measuring, managing, and publicly disclosing an organisation's environmental, social, and governance performance — communicating what the organisation does, how it performs, and what it is committed to improving, in a structured and credible format that meets the expectations of investors, regulators, and other stakeholders. In India, the Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report — BRSR — is a mandatory sustainability disclosure requirement for the top 1000 listed companies under SEBI regulations — making sustainability reporting a legal obligation for a growing number of Indian organisations.
Beyond BRSR, internationally recognised frameworks including GRI — Global Reporting Initiative — TCFD, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals provide the standards against which global investors and institutional stakeholders assess the quality and credibility of sustainability disclosure. EGSS supports organisations through the complete sustainability reporting process — from data collection and materiality assessment through report drafting, stakeholder review, and publication — delivering reports that meet the requirements of applicable frameworks and communicate ESG performance with the rigour and transparency that serious stakeholders expect.
