Net Zero Roadmap Development

What is a Net Zero Roadmap Development?
A Net Zero Roadmap is a structured, evidence-based plan that defines how an organisation will achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by a target date — identifying the decarbonisation levers available across its operations and value chain, setting interim milestones, and specifying the investments, operational changes, and offset strategies required to reach the target. Developing a credible net zero roadmap begins with a complete GHG inventory — establishing the emissions baseline from which reductions must be achieved.
It then involves identifying and quantifying abatement opportunities across Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, evaluating their feasibility and cost, sequencing interventions, and defining the governance and monitoring frameworks needed to track progress and maintain accountability. EGSS develops net zero roadmaps that are technically rigorous, commercially realistic, and aligned with internationally recognised standards including the Science Based Targets initiative — providing organisations with a credible, actionable plan that meets the expectations of investors, lenders, and disclosure frameworks.
