Occupational Health Baseline Assessment

What is a Occupational Health Baseline Assessment?
An Occupational Health Baseline Assessment is a comprehensive evaluation of the current occupational health status of a workforce and workplace — conducted to establish a clear starting point from which health risks can be identified, prioritised, and managed.
The assessment examines the range of occupational health hazards present in the workplace — physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic, and psychosocial — alongside existing health surveillance arrangements, workplace health policies, and the health outcomes of the workforce where data is available.
The output provides management with a structured understanding of the organisation's occupational health risk profile — informing the design of a targeted occupational health programme and establishing the baseline against which future health performance can be measured.
