FoSTaC Training — FSSAI Approved

Food Safety Header

What is a FoSTaC Training — FSSAI Approved?

FoSTaC — Food Safety Training and Certification — is FSSAI's national programme for food safety training and certification of food safety supervisors in food businesses. Under FSSAI regulations, all food businesses are required to have at least one trained and certified food safety supervisor for every 25 food handlers — making FoSTaC training a statutory requirement for food businesses operating in India.

The programme covers food safety fundamentals, hygiene principles, HACCP concepts, food safety legislation, and good manufacturing or catering practices — tailored to specific food business categories including manufacturing, catering, retail, and storage and distribution.

EGSS is an approved FoSTaC Training Partner — delivering FSSAI-approved training programmes that result in FSSAI-recognised certification for participants, meeting the statutory food safety supervisor requirements of the Food Safety and Standards Act.
